Founded in 2003 by industry veterans Bill Williams and Ken Owens, River’s Edge Terminals was built on a simple but powerful vision: to deliver efficient, quality-focused packaging and logistics services in an industry where precision matters. After decades spent traveling the globe advising the world’s leading manufacturers and distributors on quality control systems, Bill and Ken took the best practices from across continents and applied them here at home.
Under their leadership, RET grew from a modest 20,000-square-foot operation into a 170,000-square-foot distribution and packaging hub, serving clients across the globe with a reputation for reliability and excellence.
At the core of River’s Edge Terminals is a relentless commitment to quality. Over the years, the team has developed proprietary processes and custom-engineered systems that enhance precision, reduce errors, and streamline operations. These innovations, born from decades of hands-on experience, allow us to consistently exceed industry standards, delivering faster, safer, and more cost-effective solutions for our clients.

In 2025, River’s Edge Terminals entered a new chapter, acquired by a local ownership group committed to preserving and advancing the company’s legacy. The new team includes Ken’s son, Sean Owens, and is led by Nick Pass and Will Samuel. Together, they bring a renewed energy, fresh investment, and a clear focus on expanding services while maintaining the unwavering commitment to quality and client-first values that built RET’s name. As we look ahead, River’s Edge Terminals remains firmly rooted in its proven foundation, poised to grow, evolve, and continue delivering industry-leading service and uncompromising quality control to partners old and new.

Handling petrochemical and specialty products comes with real responsibility, and we take it seriously. River's Edge Terminals operates in full compliance with the federal, state, and local regulations that govern our industry, from transportation and handling to environmental and workplace safety standards. Our team follows strict operating procedures, ongoing safety training, and routine inspections to make sure every shipment moves the way it should: safely, correctly, and accountably.
While we're not currently ISO certified, our operations are held to, and meet, the same rigorous standards our regulators require, and we're continually evaluating opportunities to formalize that commitment further.
